I’m having a planning session with my friend Patrick at Terroir. I can’t tell you what we are planning because it’s a secret; or maybe it’s just an excuse to hang out with my friend on a Wednesday and I need to justify that.

This wine bar in Tribeca is just the place to put a smile on your face on a grey day. Just reading the descriptions of their wines and their menu offerings (who wouldn’t want to try the World’s 6th Best Popcorn?) will cheer you up.  Not to mention that you will find answers to many of your burning questions about the universe; such as how many vermouths exist, who created it, and if vermouth will, in fact, make your life better.

Bonus Points:

The answer to one of my burning questions about the universe solved. What to do with one of the five bags of zaatar that I have in my kitchen (who knew that I didn’t need a pound of each variety of zaatar that I saw at a store in Patterson NJ?).
